Bergamot essential oil has been traditionally used by Italians where it is mainly cultivated in the warm south part of the country. The oil is known for providing a calming effect, reducing stress, while at the same time uplifting the spirit, like other citrus oils. Bergamot contains a high level of limonene, a compound been shown to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress, and possibly disease-preventing properties.
USES
Add a few drops to your shower steam routine to purify skin and relieve stress. Massage muscles for a calming and relaxing feel. Calm tensions in your room with water dilution in a spray bottle or diffuser.
DIRECTIONS
Topical use – With first use dilute a few drops with your preferred carrier oil, such as Sweet Almond or Avocado oil, to reduce skin sensitivity.
